Schwisow Construction, Inc. is a General Contracting firm based in Lincoln, NE, specializing in Commercial, Manufacturing, and Industrial facilities. Schwisow Construction offers services including Design Build, Project Management, and Competitive Bid to meet our clients' needs efficiently and competitively.

ROLE DESRIPTIONS

  • Performs tasks involving physical labor at commercial construction sites.

  • Utilizes company delivery vehicles safely to and from multiple sites

  • Operates a variety of hand and power tools.

  • Cleans and prepares various types of sites,

  • Experience in trenchwork is preferred. But not required

  • Assists craft workers as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and/or written instructions

  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 65 lbs independently, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and team lift up to 100 lbs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

  • Proven track record of safety leadership, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

  • Must be able to work in extreme climates in both Summer/Winter weather year-round

  • Candidates must have reliable means of transportation to and from work daily for consistent timeliness and attendance
